May 2026 Newsletter: Design, Connection, and Community

As we approach the summer months, we’re able to appreciate all nature has to offer. We get to enjoy seeing colors and shapes burst back to life from dormancy, and in many areas, this also marks a significant uptick in other forms of design, like landscaping, roadwork, and building construction.

So perhaps it’s fitting that design is on our mind this month. Later this summer, we’ll have a webinar all about design, but we wanted to share an interview with a designer to spark some inspiration. Stay tuned for the invite for that and our Investor Success webinar coming up in June.

The much-anticipated recording for our May webinar is finally here! We’ve gotten a lot of questions about this one. Once a year, we like to provide a “peek behind the curtain” to share one of our processes with you. This time, we looked at how we choose communities.

It’s true that not everything we shared is available in this recording. You’d have to attend live to get the full inside scoop! Still, we shared a lot in this webinar that you will be able to access on demand. Check it out now!

Designer Friday: Karin Bohn

Good design is about all the little details that add up to evoke a certain feeling and accomplish a specific goal. Oftentimes, these details will go unnoticed by the average person, but without them, you could end up with a space that doesn’t feel quite right.

In July, we’ll have a webinar all about design. To get you in the mood for the topic, we wanted to share this article featuring designer Karin Bohn. Bohn talks about how her intention with design is the same, regardless of the space: “To support healing, presence, and a more conscious way of living.” Keep reading to get her perspective on the importance of a “highly considered space.” Really inspiring stuff!
